Botleys Mansion in Surrey was the venue for one of my all time favourite weddings! Favourite not just because Botleys Mansion is an absolutely amazing wedding venue, bet mostly because of the two people getting married that day – the absolutely lovely James and Jenna. I have been very lucky having the most amazing clients and James and Jenna were one of the loveliest people I have worked with. I get to know them a bit better a while ago when we did an engagement session in London (the photos of which will follow soon). They had planned their wedding so well! Every smallest detail was thought through, the Botleys Mansion was beautifully decorated, the food was amazing, oh and did I mentioned the wedding cake was made by James himself..? :)

It was such a pleasure to capture the big day of James and Jenna.. The biggest problem for me was to choose photos to publish here…

And the venue is surely worth mentioning.. Botleys Mansion is a stunning 18th century Grade II listed mansion house. There are just a few venues as spectacular as Botleys Mansion. Set in beautiful rolling Surrey parkland, with superb views around, Botleys Mansion is a wedding photographers dream! Beautiful great rooms, filled with authentic period pieces and chandeliers, massively high ceilings and huge windows letting in masses of gorgeous natural light, Botleys House needs to be seen to be believed!

Here’s also a few other vendors definetely worth mentioning: Wedding Band (absolutely amazing) – Pure Orange; Flower Arrangements – Emma Lappin Flowers; Suits – Hugh Harris; Cake – James, the groom :)

Not too often I see dogs joining the wedding party, but Molly is such a lovely and polite dog it was allowed to take part. Needless to say that as soon as she arrived everyones attention was suddenly turned to her… :)

That is officially the best wedding snack I’ve ever tried! A miniature fish and chips.
