Today’s wedding was captured in and around the Halswell House in the beautiful Somerset countryside! Ian and Brittany live in London, but for their wedding day they chose to get out of the capital to the countryside! It was my first wedding in Halswell House and I really enjoyed it. The venue is magnificent – located in Goathurst, Somerset it’s a Grade I listed 17th Century country house with absolutely stunning grounds. Ian and Brittany had arranged a grand wedding with lot’s of quirky features and the most amazing live music at the end.. they’re called Rockabellas – with killer heels, killer curves and killer harmonies and vintage vocals, they really made the evening special. Ohh and then there was some magic on the evening.. Anyway, enough writing, let the photos speak…

Friday, September 9th, 2011Jewish Wedding of Nick & Alice, Richmond, UK
Saturday, September 3rd, 2011I looked through Nick and Alice’s wedding photos over five times to pick ones to publish here, and still I couldn’t get the count below 100, so be prepared for long, but absolutely amazing wedding gallery! The wedding of Alice and Nick was quite different then the usual wedding. Firstly, it was a Jewish Wedding with the ceremony held following the Jewish law and traditions. Secondly, the wedding took place not in some dedicated wedding venue, but in a private garden in Richmond, London – It was a bit like from fairy tale – hard to imagine a more perfect setting for wedding. And then there was attention to details. Everything was so well thought through and every singe detail seemed to be perfect. Just scroll down and take a look at the cake!! :) Overall it was an amazing day and I am so glad to have been part of it. Mazel Tov!!
Alex & Louisa, St George’s Hall, Bristol, UK
Wednesday, August 31st, 2011Although I am based in Bristol, somehow most of my weddings are usually taking place quite some distance away. I’m so used to driving to London and other destinations around the country to shoot weddings… but this time it was different. The wedding of Alex and Louisa took place in Bristol, in fact their venue – St George’s Hall is just 15 minute walk from where I live. So this was the first time I left my car home and headed to wedding on foot. :)
Alex and Louisa is absolutely the loveliest couple ever! I met them just a few months back and they instantly decided that I am the photographer for them, and I am so glad for that!
Mathias & Ance, Destination Wedding, Latvia
Tuesday, August 23rd, 2011Earlier this year I was visiting Latvia, which is in eastern Europe, to do a destination wedding photography of Mathias and Ance. They are such a lovely and cheerful couple and I truly enjoyed spending the day with them! Mathias is originally from Germany and that is also where they both live now. However, as Ance was born in Latvia, they chose to hold their wedding there. It turned out to be such a fun-filled day! See for yourselves… ;)
Indian Wedding of Tanaz & Rohinton, London, UK
Wednesday, August 17th, 2011Today I’d like to share with you the first Indian wedding I have shot this year. Tanaz and Rohinton live in Melbourne, Australia and so are part of their family and many friends. It was a big challenge to organize their wedding in London from a few thousand miles away, however I’m glad to say it all worked very well at the end! :)
Ben & Gemma, Maunsel House, Somerset
Monday, August 1st, 2011Today I have a special treat for you… Few weeks back I was visiting the magnificent Maunsel House in Somerset to do the photography of Ben and Gemma’s wedding! I know, nothing in life is really perfect, but honestly, this wedding was very close to that… even the smallest details were thought through very carefully, which made the day to be really amazing! Ohh, and did I mentioned the venue..!? Maunsel House is one of the most quirkiest and most amazing wedding venues I have ever been, filled with medieval things, huge paintings, stuffed animals, etc., even the pub is decorated with armory and all those hundreds of birds cheering around the venue definitely adds a lot to it… Altogether, it was really something special.. Take a look!
Eleanor & Mark, Herefordshire, UK
Thursday, July 7th, 2011Today I’d like to share with you an absolutely beautiful wedding I had the pleasure to attend a few weeks ago. The wedding of Eleanor and Mark was a bit like taken from a fairytale – they got married in the lovely Herefordshire which is an absolutely amazing place for celebration of the wedding! and then there’s the couple – they were such a naturals.. Mark was a bit reluctant at beginning to have a newlywed photo-session, but after we started and I showed some of the photos to him in my camera, he finally realised he is a real male supermodel and so we got carried away with photography so much we missed a bit of the reception… :)
Mark and Eleanor’s wedding took place in amazing How Caple Court in Herefordshire, but we started the day in nearby village of Fownhope where wedding party was getting ready for the ceremony. I couldn’t notice father of the bride looking so proud about her daughter getting married. He had polished his Rolls-Royce to a point it looked like brand new and he later very proudly chauffeured her daughter to the church.
Anyway, enough writing, let the photos tell the story… As ever, your comments and “Likes” on Facebook are much appreciated!
Daryl & Hannah, Gloucestershire, UK
Tuesday, June 28th, 2011Just to give you a few key-words for the wedding you are about to see – sleepy Gloucestershire village, bouncy castle, VW camper van for transport, then, for the evening party - bride dressed as Madonna and the groom transformed to Slash himself, Mr. Simon Cowell, Rihanna, Lady GaGa, Amy Winehouse among the wedding guests, most of them later singing rock’n'roll with live band… now tell me, doesn’t it sound like the most fun at the wedding…? :)
Paul & Becky, Gloucestershire, UK
Tuesday, June 14th, 2011I met Paul and Rebecca a few months back to talk through their wedding plans and I immediately understood – their wedding is gonna be quite special! The sheer excitement in their eyes when they talked about their wedding and showed me some snapshots of their wedding venue, the Manor House Hotel.. And I was right, the wedding really was special – the attention to details, the venue, the picturesque Gloucestershire village Moreton-in-Marsh, the car… oh yes, the car… it was one of the finest Rolls Royce’s I have ever seen.. – everything just fitted in perfectly to make the big day of Paul and Becky unforgettable! I’m glad I was a part of their day and hopefully I managed to capture Paul and Becky’s day just the way it was.. See for yourselves.
Vincent & Susanna, Leicestershire, UK
Friday, June 3rd, 2011I met Vincent the first time at Alan and Ruth’s wedding September last year – Vincent was Alan’s best man then. Earlier this year I was asked by Vincent if I could capture his wedding day as well to which I said “Yes!”
