London is probably one of the best places to do pre wedding shoots or any kind of shoots in fact. And if engagement shoot in London is coupled with two amazing and fun people – the day is guaranteed to be great! I did James and Jenna’s wedding photography in Botleys Mansion a few months back, which I shared in my blog here a while ago, but I was a bit lazy and didn’t share their amazing pre-wedding shoot which we did before their wedding. Now is time to fix this.. We spent half a day hanging around their favourite locations in central London and surely that is the best way to do pre wedding photography – just spending the day doing what you love doing. This time it was shopping in London’s Borough market, visiting quite a few parks and squares with amazing London cityscapes and even taking a bot trip on river Thames. What an amazing day it was!
Here’s what James had to say about their pre-wedding photos:
Thank you so much for the pre-shoot photo’s, they’re amazing!! Jenna and I can’t stop looking at them as in a strange way we prefer them to our wedding ones, something about the different venues reflecting all of the important places to us both since we have been together! Having now seen them we will have to amend the testimonial we have written for you to reflect the even more impressive results of the shoot!
Here’s some of the memories from the day. Enjoy!

Love the facial expressions here.. :)

After shopping in Borough market we got on a boat for a trip on river Thames.

Jenna caught a bee in her hair… Or the bee caught Jenna.. :)

Liene - Oij tas suncis ir fantastisks un cerams, ka viņš piedalīsies arī pašās kāzās :)
P.s. kas tā ir par vietu Londonā, kur puisis meiteni paņēmis pičpaunā? kaut kāds parks?
Ann - Love their dog!
And the colours and light in the market are amazing. Good stuff. :)
Andy Garfitt - What a great shoot! My favourite engagement session I’ve seen for a while.
Brett Symes - Martin, these really are superb. It goes without saying that photographically and compositionally they’re beautiful but what I love most is how relaxed and genuine the pictures all feel. What a lovely set of pictures for that couple to have of this really special time, they must be over the moon.
Antony Turner - Just thought I would stop by and tell you that this is a fantastic engagement portrait session!
Martins Kikulis - Thanks all you guys for your kind comments! Yeah, James and Jenna were really liking their engagement photos.. And they have been one of my favourite couples to work with.
