This May I had the pleasure to be invited to do photography on Irish wedding of Ciaran and Niamh – they are two such a lovely people, I am smiling like fool every time I look back at their wedding pictures! :) It was actually my first Irish wedding and saying I enjoyed it would be an understatement. Irish are such a lovely bunch, they really know how to party and to enjoy themselves! This Irish wedding was very small and intimate but still involved a lot of fun, laugh, dancing and signing (worth looking at the photos towards the end..) :)
I was doing the photography mostly in reportage style, but we also took 20 mins or so to do some great portraiture just across the street form the venue – around a few very busy Bristol streets, although it might not look like that in photos.
The wedding took place in Hotel Du Vin in Bristol. Hotel Du Vin is a small, but lovely boutique hotel – a magnificently restored Sugar House, previously a collection of Grade II-listed warehouses from the 1700′s.
