Richard & Caroline, Knowlton Court, Kent, UK

knowlton court wedding photography

I am so excited to share this next wedding with you.. This was something truly special and not so much because of the venue of choice (although Knowlton Court was superb) or the lovely church ceremony, or the beautiful dress, or the amazing attention to details all around, but mostly because of the two people getting married. Richard and Caroline are such a fun and genuine couple, and I was so glad they chose to share their day with me! I loved every bit of their wedding, despite even having to spend almost 9 hours driving that day, it was well worth it at the end.

Adam & Catherine, Maunsel House, Somerset

I’m so excited to be sharing with you this amazing wedding I was invited to attend a few weeks ago. The wedding took place in my favourite venue of them all – the magnificent Maunsel House in Somerset. Adam and Catherine came to Somerset all the way from London, as they wanted a truly relaxed wedding surrounded in British countryside. And you can’t go more relaxed or more countryside-ish then Maunsel House – it was the perfect venue for this wedding.

Anthony & Steph, Sandon Hall, UK

It was a cold but very sunny September day when Anthony & Steph held their wedding at the spectacular Sandon Hall. I didn’t even met the couple before the wedding and was completely trusted with their photography on the day. Whilst shooting back to back weddings in the windy and cold September I had managed to catch cold quite badly, so thanks guys for the tea and well wishes! :)

Joel & Christina, Houses of Parliament, Westminster, London

I am so excited to be sharing with you the wedding of Joel and Christina, firstly, because they are such an amazing couple, and secondly, because of their choice of venues – their wedding took place in Westminster Chapel, London and the wedding reception was held in Houses of Parliament (!!!) Countless times I have done wedding or engagement shoots in Westminster, next to river Thames with Parliament buildings in the background and wondering how Westminster looks the other way around. This was my chance to experience that and see London actually from Houses of Parliament, not the usual other way around. Just check the night photos at the end of the blog post, taken in the courtyard of Parliament using only available light from some street lamps and the neon-lit London Eye in the background. Must be one of my favourite photos ever.

David Vidgen - Martin

That’s a really nice image with London Eye in Neon in background. It looks like there was a a real mixture of colour temperatures to take into account, hence the yellow cast on the dress.

Get’s a thumbs up from me.

Amy & Tom, Thornbury Castle, UK

Tom and Amy came to England all the way from United States of America to have a very British wedding in Thornbury Castle near Bristol. Thornbury Castle, said to be one of the most romantic hotels in the country, was the perfect venue for this wedding adventure. With its magnificent medieval architecture, impressive Tudor Hall and award winning food, it really is the location for an unforgettable wedding.

Andre & Catherine, A Maltese-British Wedding

This time I’d like to share another wedding from St Georges Hall, this time it was a Maltese – British wedding. Andre is originally from Malta – a place which I am actually planning to visit as soon as I get a few weeks off (which looks quite unlikely at the moment). Anyway, back to the wedding. :) Half of the wedding party was British, mostly from Bristol and Liverpool and the other half had travelled all the way from Malta to attend the wedding. However everyone was united by their passion to football and rugby, which was also the theme of the wedding.
