Rhodri & Sioned, North Wales

Let’s start with the fact that I love North Wales. It’s an amazing place and I am visiting it time to time even if I don’t have any weddings to do there. Quite often when driving around the mountain roads of North Wales and seeing the magnificent sceneries around, I was imagining how amazing would it be to do a wedding around there! So how lucky was I when I received inquiry from Rhodri and Sioned for their wedding which was planned to take place… yes, correct.. in North Wales! :)

I was soo looking forward to their wedding and it didn’t disappoint! What’s not less important then the wedding location is the fact that Rhodri and Sioned are such an amazingly good looking couple and furthermore, Sioned is a professional actress, which made our photo-session in the Welsh mountains (and a few other places) such a great experience and I am so happy with the results! In fact, bearing in mind the North Wales scenery, the couples personalities (and looks) it could be one of my favourite wedding photo-sessions of all times!

Steve Watkins - Wow. Where to start? An incredible set from start to finish. Looks like everything fell into place for you! The location, the couple, the details all make for a spectacular viewing. I hope I get to shoot somewhere like that, with such a willing and fun couple sometime soon. These kind of opportunities don’t come around too often! Really well done.

Martins Kikulis - Thanks guys! :)

Martin & Rhian, Hilltop House, Cheshire, UK

This is one of those weddings I couldn’t wait to publish here. It was a proper British country wedding taking place in Hilltop Country House in Cheshire countryside and I enjoyed every minute of it! I loved how the day was planned so relaxed – and you can see from everyones faces in the photos, they were loving it too! :) Rhian looked absolutely amazing and Martin instead of wearing the traditional black suit, chose something a bit different, which all together, I think, will be a great addition to my wedding photography portfolio. These guys were such a joy to photograph!

Yiannis & Elena, Cypriot wedding Sneak-Peek

Today I’d like to share some great wedding photography from Cyprus. It’s one of my this years most exciting weddings, so I couldn’t help myself to publish a little Sneak Peek of the Cypriot wedding I was invited to photograph this June! So the story goes like this, Yiannis is a great Cypriot guy who despite his good looks hate being photographed and everything that has to do with traditional wedding photography (you know, stuff like hundreds of staged group shots etc.) and Elena is a beautiful young lady who looks amazing in front of the camera (as you can see for yourselves below) and both these lovely people had decided to get married in a lovely Cypriot wedding ceremony (which is a lot different to what we have used to here in UK).

Ciaran & Niamh’s Irish Wedding, Bristol, UK

This May I had the pleasure to be invited to do photography on Irish wedding of Ciaran and Niamh – they are two such a lovely people, I am smiling like fool every time I look back at their wedding pictures! :) It was actually my first Irish wedding and saying I enjoyed it would be an understatement. Irish are such a lovely bunch, they really know how to party and to enjoy themselves! This Irish wedding was very small and intimate but still involved a lot of fun, laugh, dancing and signing (worth looking at the photos towards the end..) :)

Clare West - Beautiful set of images. The first in particular is breathtaking!!!

Craig & Julia, Maunsel House, Somerset, UK

It’s such a pleasure to be returning to Maunsel House again and again. I love this venue and have done quite a few weddings there – they have all been absolutely amazing! So every time I get an inquiry for Maunsel House wedding, I so hope that I’ll have the date still available… And it was this time, when I was visiting Maunsel House to capture Craig and Julia’s wedding. They are such a fun-filled couple and from the very start of the wedding I knew it’s gonna be exactly that – loads of fun, laughter, joking and some Rock’n’Roll at the end (just check Craig and Julia’s first dance at the end!! no comments necessary there, I think! :) )

Antony Turner - bit late for the comment, but this absolutely fantastic coverage! REALLY really well done :-)

Giles & Sophie, Botleys Mansion, UK

I first visited Botleys Mansion last September when I did the photography at James & Jenna’s wedding, which turned out to be amazing success.. The wedding was featured in some of the best wedding blogs as well as ‘Wedding Day Venues’ magazine here in UK. One of the photos also won an award on ISPWP contest. Still, the best award for me was that James & Jenna really loved their wedding photos! With that said, I was very much looking forward to my second visit to amazing Botleys mansion to photograph Sophie and Gile’s wedding celebration! Even despite that it was raining for most of the morning, the day was still great and the Botleys Mansion didn’t disappoint.
