Although I am based in Bristol, somehow most of my weddings are usually taking place quite some distance away. I’m so used to driving to London and other destinations around the country to shoot weddings… but this time it was different. The wedding of Alex and Louisa took place in Bristol, in fact their venue – St George’s Hall is just 15 minute walk from where I live. So this was the first time I left my car home and headed to wedding on foot. :)

Alex and Louisa is absolutely the loveliest couple ever! I met them just a few months back and they instantly decided that I am the photographer for them, and I am so glad for that!

The wedding ceremony took place in Bristol Register Office which is situated in the heart of Bristol’s historic centre in the Old Council House. After the ceremony we headed to St Georges Hall which is a poplar venue for holding music, theater, comedy and other events.  This time the big event was Alex and Louisa’s wedding! Take a look..

Love this! They had organised a special cinema room for kids to watch some “Shrek” and “Toy Story” while grown-ups were enjoying drinks and dancing upstairs at St George’s hall.. Cinema/kids room proved to be popular also amongst older generation.
