Jessica & Cliff, Belvoir Castle, UK

l was so looking forward to my next wedding in Belvoir Castle since I last was there a few years ago for Alan and Ruth’s wedding. Belvoir Castle is one of the grandest venues in England. It’s just so huge and being there feels a bit like being in a fairy tale! Needless to say that doing wedding photography in such place is a joy to say the least!

I was very glad to get an inquiry from Cliff and Jessica who had already booked Belvoir Castle at that point, but I guess it was a first for me when the couple had decided to book a venue because of my photos! They had searched internet for some amazing castles and came across photos from my previous Belvoir Castle wedding a few years ago – that’s when the decision in relation to wedding venue and photographer was made!

I didn’t mind waking up very early for a long drive to Leicestershire where Belvoir Castle is located, virtually in a middle of nowhere for Cliff and Jessica’s Chinese wedding! Even the fact that it was raining most of the day to the extent that a few local roads had to be closed (typical summer in England), we still had an amazing day with grand ceremony, tour of the castle and some traditions of a Chinese wedding, like the Chinese tea ceremony! We were also very lucky when the sun came out late on the afternoon, so we managed to get some amazing photographs in the gardens as well as in one of the grandest rooms of Belvoir Castle.

Well, what more to add.. have a look at a selection of photos from the wedding below.

Worth mentioning – hair/make-up by Sam Sham – she done an amazing job!

Next, it was time for the traditional Chinese tea ceremony, quite an emotional part of the wedding.
