Ben & Gemma, Maunsel House, Somerset

Today I have a special treat for you… Few weeks back I was visiting the magnificent Maunsel House in Somerset to do the photography of Ben and Gemma’s wedding! I know, nothing in life is really perfect, but honestly, this wedding was very close to that… even the smallest details were thought through very carefully, which made the day to be really amazing! Ohh, and did I mentioned the venue..!? Maunsel House is one of the most quirkiest and most amazing wedding venues I have ever been, filled with medieval things, huge paintings, stuffed animals, etc., even the pub is decorated with armory and all those hundreds of birds cheering around the venue definitely adds a lot to it… Altogether, it was really something special.. Take a look!

We then headed to the local church for Ben and Gemma to receive blessings. It might be the smallest ever church I have ever been, but I guess that made the ceremony very warm and intimate.

We than had a small photo-session of Ben and Gemma alone.. well, not really alone, as some local birds also took part.. :)

Not too often I am witnessing bride doing a wedding speech… This time was different. Gemma had prepared such an emotional speech…

Definitely one of my all time favourite Cutting the Cake photos..

Thanks to Ben and Gemma for having me as your wedding photographer, it was a pleasure to share your big day with you and I wish you all the best in your life together as a married couple!!

Liddy Smethurst - Hi Martin,

What fan-dabbi-dozi pictures!!! Of all the weddings I’ve had this year this has to be my favourite and the pictures I’ve most enjoyed looking through the most. The fun filled day created by Ben & Gem has really been captured and I love the contrasts of colours. The house & grounds look gorgeous too- not to mention the bride!!!

I hope you enjoyed your time with us here and I hope to see you again in the future.
Liddy x

Tracey Trevelyan - Hi Martin

These photos are fantastic, they almost made me cry!! They are so brilliant.

My fiancee and I are getting married at Maunsel house next May/early June 2013 (we are booking it on Weds of this week hopefully!!)

We are looking at potential photographers and were wondering how much you charged for the entire day and evenings photography.

Look forward to hearing from you

Tracey Trevelyan
