Let’s start with the fact that I love North Wales. It’s an amazing place and I am visiting it time to time even if I don’t have any weddings to do there. Quite often when driving around the mountain roads of North Wales and seeing the magnificent sceneries around, I was imagining how amazing would it be to do a wedding around there! So how lucky was I when I received inquiry from Rhodri and Sioned for their wedding which was planned to take place… yes, correct.. in North Wales! :)
I was soo looking forward to their wedding and it didn’t disappoint! What’s not less important then the wedding location is the fact that Rhodri and Sioned are such an amazingly good looking couple and furthermore, Sioned is a professional actress, which made our photo-session in the Welsh mountains (and a few other places) such a great experience and I am so happy with the results! In fact, bearing in mind the North Wales scenery, the couples personalities (and looks) it could be one of my favourite wedding photo-sessions of all times!
The wedding itself was also arranged beautifully – the attention to details was amazing! They even had decorated the tea cup for every guest with a photo of him or her. It was such a lovely surprise to find my photo (see below) in my tea cup too – that photo is now nicely sitting in the shelf in my room!
Thank you so much Rhodri and Sioned for having me to do your wedding photography and I hope to meet you again sometime soon on one of our visits to North Wales!
Took the opportunity to get myself in the picture as well! :)
Amazing North Wales scenery. What a beautiful place for having a wedding!
Mynydd Ednyfed country Hotel in Cricieth, Gwynedd
How sweet is this..!? :)
Off to do a photo-session, first it’s seaside location near Cricieth castle.
Then we decided to get in the top of a Welsh mountain! No problem for Sioned and Rhodri, even if some fences had to be climbed over. :) Sioned – you are the bravest bride I have ever photographed! :)
And what you find in the top of every mountain in North Wales – yes, it’s lot of sheep! :)
