A few weeks back I had a pleasure to be invited to Colliters Brook Farm to photograph wedding of Amy and Rob! They are such a lovely couple and live locally in Bristol too. I really enjoyed photographing their wedding for many reasons, just to mention a few – I finally got to shoot in the magnificent Christchurch in Clifton which is a grand church not far from where I live in Bristol; there were also lot’s of lovely people at the wedding (for few of them I am shooting wedding next year, so I was being watched closely during the wedding :) ) and thirdly, the wedding party on the evening was true rock’n’roll – the craziest and wildest party – just have a look at the photos, you’ll see what I mean.
Here comes the second part of my Cyprus wedding photo reportage. (Here’s part 1 in case you missed it.) Day two was all about having a grand Cypriot party which included delightful food and drinks and lot’s of dancing late in the night. I loved every minute of it! This part of the wedding took place in an absolutely stunning Columbia Beach Resort in Pissouri village right on the beach – it was one of the finest wedding locations I’ve ever seen, a bit like from fairy tales.
The proceedings started quite a late in afternoon when it was already getting dark, so photography was quite challenging, still I think I got some great photos, especially from the dancing bit. And one thing is for sure – Cypriots know how to party! :)
Last month I was doing some amazing destination wedding photography in Cyprus and I am very exited to be sharing the first part of the photos with you. Let’s start with the fact that I absolutely loved Cyprus, I loved the Cyprus wedding and I love the people of Cyprus. So apologies in forward for being overly excited about this. :)
In Cyprus wedding is a truly grand event with lots of people invited and weddings are usually celebrated over two days, which was the case this time as well. The first day of the wedding was the more official part with the Greek Orthodox Wedding ceremony and wedding reception taking place.
It’s been a while since I last shot a wedding in Great Tythe Barn – almost two years ago I did my first wedding in Great Tythe Barn for Rob & Tamsin and it was then I fell in love with the place a bit. So I was very much looking forward to returning and shooting my next wedding here and my wich came true – I did two weddings in Great Tythe Barn in less then weeks time! :) The first wedding was for Tom and Claire – a couple who came all the way from up north to celebrate their wedding in the lovely Cotswolds countryside.
Mansion House in Clifton Downs, Bristol was the chosen venue for Chinese wedding of Tian and Hui. For me it was one of those rare occasions when I could simply walk to the venue rather then driving for many hours, as Mansion House is located 5 mins from where I live. Despite this, it was my first time shooting a wedding here and I really enjoyed it!
A few weeks ago I was visiting Wick Farm Barn near Bath to document Ryan and Claire’s wedding day. We vere very lucky with the weather as the sun kept shining all day and everyone was in such a good mood.. well, you can feel the mood from the photos. Ryan and Claire are such a fun filled couple and it was a pleasure to work with them. Ryan’s speech was also among the best I’ve witnessed.
