It was a beautiful and sunny summer day when I headed to Royal Berkshire Hotel to do wedding photography for Nick & Gemma! It was one of those absolutely relaxed weddings where the goal wasn’t to follow wedding traditions, but for everyone to have fun and enjoy themselves, and it worked so well.. especially with photography – I managed to capture so many amazing and fun moments without even once asking somebody to pose. I love doing pure reportage photography as it makes so easy to get back to the day just by looking at the photo album.
The venue, Royal Berkshire Hotel, is also definitely worth mentioning. It was originally built in 1705 for the Churchill family, set in 15 acres of perfectly manicured gardens, the Royal Berkshire Hotel is an elegant Queen Anne house. Offering a rare balance of relaxed comfort, informal surroundings and impeccable service, the house and gardens are the picture perfect venue for a relaxed yet grand wedding.
Here’s also a list of some of the wedding suppliers: Bride’s dress – Pronovias; Suit hire: Moss Hire; Bridesmaid dress: Reflections; Florist: Mary Jane Vaughan; Cake: Rosalind Miller Cakes; Magician: Charis Magic; Venue: Royal Berkshire Hotel.
